Unravelau, referred to as “we”, “us” and “our”, respects your concerns about privacy and recognizes the importance of being transparent regarding the personal information we collect about you, the user of this website (the “Website”), referred to as “you”, “your” and “customer”.

Article 3 - Personal Data Collection 

The following paragraphs explain, for each situation, what personal data we collect directly from you (either voluntarily provided or through automated means) and what personal information may be collected (or we may receive) from other sources. 

At the time of collection, we will inform you whether the personal information is optional or mandatory for us to provide specific products or Service. If mandatory, we

might not be able to offer you the product or Service you requested if you choose not to share that information with us. 

Be aware that our products and Service are not targeted towards anybody that is not of age in their respective country of residence and we do not knowingly collect information from under-aged children. 

3.1 When you purchase our products or use our Service online 

The following personal data is necessary for us to provide you with certain services and execute our agreement: 

? For any type of purchase, we will collect your credit card numbers and other payment information. We will keep your shopping history (what you bought, when and where you bought it and how you paid for it) if we can relate the purchase to your order number. 

? If you make an online purchase, we will also collect your contact information including your name, billing and shipping address, e-mail address, telephone number. 

? If you purchase an item or ask us to deliver your purchase to someone else, we will collect the recipient’s name and postal address to send the item to the recipient.

In this paragraph we explain what your personal information will be used for and how it will be processed. Be aware that multiple purposes can apply at the same time to the same personal information. 

5.1 To provide our products and Services 

In order to grant you the products and Services you requested, we will process the relevant personal information described under the previous sections. 

5.2 To communicate and interact with you 

If you have given us your consent through an appropriate mechanism such as ticking a box, managing technical settings or any other action indicating clearly your consent, we will use your contact information to send you offers, news and updates about our products, Services and events through our newsletter via e-mail. We will personalise and tailor these communications to your preferences and interests based on our legitimate interest to improve your customer experience as explained in the next section. 

You can choose at any time to unsubscribe from marketing e-mails by clicking on the unsubscribe link included in each e-mail (or by contacting us at info@unravelau.com).

We may use your personal information to offer you products and Services fitting your preferences, show advertisements and promotions tailored to you, and send you customized communication (if you have given your consent to marketing communication). 

If you do not disable the use of cookies while continuing your navigation on our Website, we may use the personal information collected to determine advertising effectiveness, for example that you have visited our Websites after clicking on Unravelau ads displayed by third party advertising companies (through analytics cookies) on certain websites you visit. 

We may finally use your personal information to conduct analytics and research based on our legitimate interest to understand our business, customers shopping patterns, trends and behaviors. 

5.4 To provide customer support 

We may process your personal information if you contact us via email (or we contact you). We will collect and process your personal information to perform our contractual obligations in relation with the products or Services you have requested and to provide you the best Service we can or to comply with our legal obligations.

We maintain appropriate administrative, technical safeguards to protect the personal information you provide on this Website against accidental, unlawful or unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure or use and other unlawful forms of processing. 

Article 8 - Retaining your personal information 

We keep the personal information we collect during check out for the duration of one year. After this period, your personal information will be filed for tax purposes only, which requires a retention period of seven years. If you have given us consent to use your email address for newsletters and promotion, that information will be stored until you unsubscribe from those services. Your email address will then be deleted from our database. 

Article 9 - Your rights 

At any time, you have the right for objection, insight, rectification, deletion or the restriction of the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. 

Article 10 - Changes to this Privacy Policy 

Changes and adjustments of this Privacy Policy underlie our discretion and will become effective immediately upon their posting on the Website. It is therefore the customer’s responsibility to review them regularly. If we make substantial changes to this policy, you can find them here in the Privacy Policy. The date at the top and bottom informs you when it last has been updated. 

If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you. 

Article 11 - Governing Law and Jurisdiction 

This Privacy Policy is governed and construed in accordance with the Dutch law. This choice of law is without prejudice to the protection that you enjoy under the mandatory law of the country of your residence. In the event of a dispute in relation to this Privacy

Policy, you can bring legal proceedings against us in the country where we are registered (The Netherlands) or the local courts in your country of residence.
