THREADBARE

The Threadbare collection was first shown during the Next Green Talents event at Milan Fashion Week in 2017. It is a homage to the denim culture, where jeans get worn and repaired until they fall apart. Inspired by this mentality, the majority of this collection is made from worn out jeans and upcycled garments, hopefully creating new valuable and long-lasting relationships between garment and owner.

By using upcycled materials, our designer Laura Meijering wants to contribute to a circular economy while minimizing consumption. Other pieces of this collection are made out of natural materials and any fabric waste created during the production process are collected to be reused for following collections.
